LAKE INFORMATION

The Fyre Lake development includes three lakes.  Use of the lakes for boating, swimming, fishing, water skiing, etc., is restricted to members of Fyre Lake Association (Fyre Lake property owners) and their guests.  Guests must be accompanied by a member or be in possession of a valid temporary Guest Permit issued to a member.  Only boats owned by members are allowed on the lakes.  Check out the "Boating Regulations" page for more on our boating regulations and requirements.

FYRE LAKE

Largest of the three lakes is Fyre Lake, approximately 135 acres and up to 40 feet in depth.  Boating, fishing, swimming and water skiing are enjoyed on Fyre Lake.  Thanks to the ongoing fish stocking efforts of the Fyre Lake Sportsmen's Club, many species of fish including Crappie, Bluegill, Channel Catfish, Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Muskie and Amur (grass carp) can be found in Fyre Lake.

A boat launch area is located at the north end of the lake for those not owning lake front lots.  Picnicing and swimming are enjoyed from the beach at the south end of the lake.

LAKE RENEE

Lake Renee covers approximately 12 acres.  Originally called "the canoeing lake", outboard gas motors are prohibited on this small lake.  Boating and fishing may be done from rowboats, canoes or boats operated with electric trolling motors.

Lake Renee boasts Bluegill, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Channel Catfish, Muskie and Amur (grass carp).

              KARL LAKE

Karl Lake covers approximately 27 acres on what is considered "the West Side" of the development.  Species of fish in Karl Lake include Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Channel Catfish, Crappie, Muskie, Hybrid Stripers and Amur (grass carp).

As on Lake Renee, the use of gas motors is prohibited.  Electric trolling motors are allowed.
